Inland Division Of General Motors M1 Carbine Late Production With Bayonet – ITEM 1822

This Inland Carbine was produced around 8-1944. The carbine’s serial number is 6390967. It has the inland barrel with no barrel date. The bore shines bright and minty. All of the parts are correct for the time of production and the serial number range. This gun retains all of the original finish and has not been through a rebuild program. The bolt is the correct late style blued round bolt. All of these parts and the carbine itself show very little use or wear. The front milled sight has the correct “N”. The rear sight is the stamped style by L.R. Co. The stock and handguard are correctly IO coded. The stock and handguard are in near new condition and retain the original wood finish. The 15 round magazine is also correctly coded for Inland. The sling Is a unissued W.W.2 Olive Drab sling The oiler is by International Silver. The bayonet is the correct leather grip style for W.W.2 issue The M 4 bayonet is by Camillus. This bayonet is in very fine condition. The early style leather scabbard is marked Camillus U.S.A. and is a fine reproduction of the original scabbard.
