HARRY VIEZENS FINE GUNS

Take a Shot at History

ITEM 1994- SOLD – Winchester Model 61 Early Production Octagonal Barrel In 22 W.R.F.

SOLD

Item Number 1994 Category

This Winchester was produced in 1934. The rifle’s serial number is 8255. This rifle has the highly collectable octagonal barrel in the desirable 22 W.R.F. chambering. The bore is in very fine condition. This rifle has the early style small pump handle and early reinforced magazine locking lip. These items were only seen on very early guns. The original rust blued finish would rate a strong 97% or better condition. The stock and pump handle retain all of the original finish. There is no cracks or other issues with the wood. The action works snug and smoothly. This is a very fine condition Model 61. Early 61’s in this nice of condition are very difficult to find! Most of these early guns saw much use and wear through the years. Not many of them survived in this nice of condition! Here is a great Model 61 that would go in any collection!
