Item Number 1998 Category

This Winchester was produced around 1944 or 1945. The Carbine’s serial number is 1345661. This gun has the standard 20 inch carbine barrel chambered for the 30 W.C.F. [30-30] cartridge. The front sight is standard for this model. The rear sight is the Redfield adjustable receiver sight. This carbine shows no sign of being fired. The bore is in minty condition. The original bluing would rate a 99+% condition. The stock and forend have all of the original finish intact. The stock and forend have some figuring to the wood. This carbine has survived in unused condition since the 1940’s! The original box is serial numbered to this gun. The serial number is faint but still readable. The box is in poor condition. The end label is intact. There is an instruction booklet still in the box. The action is gummy with old oil which is to be expected with a gun that has been in storage all these years! Here is a great looking carbine with the original box for any collector!
