Winchester M1 Carbine Military Issued With Stunning Stock – ITEM 2004

SOLD

Item Number 2004 Category

This Winchester was produced around September of 1943. The carbine’s serial number is 1186672. This carbine has the standard Winchester barrel that is not dated. The barrel is chambered for the 30 M1 Carbine cartridge. The sights are correct for the serial number range and time frame. The bore is bright and minty looking. This Winchester has all of the correctly coded Winchester parts. This carbine is not a rebuild or restored gun. The magazine and oiler are also Winchester coded! This carbine shows very little use or service wear. The original metal finish on the gun and parts would rate a 97% or better condition! The stock and forend have very stunning figuring! The stock coloring is what you would expect from a high grade commercial Winchester rifle! The stock is properly coded with the ordnance wheel and WRA GHD without a box around the WRA GHD. There is a small W in the sling cut out. The handguard is unmarked but has the Winchester Bull Nose Front. The flat bolt retains almost all of the bluing. The only blue loss is where the bolt rubs back and forth in the bolt channel. The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the stock! It has to be seen in person to appreciate the coloring! This Winchester will create a real “WOW” factor in any military collection!
