This Standard Products carbine was produced around March of 1944. The carbine’s serial number is 2176874. This carbine has a correct Marlin Barrel installed. Standard Products did not produce their own barrels. Marlin was one of their suppliers of barrels. Marlin did not date their barrels. The bore is bright and minty. This carbine is in near unissued condition! This carbine retains all of the original finish on the parts and gun itself. All of the parts are original and correct for Standard Products for the serial number range and time frame! The stock is the correct late style oval cut low wood stock. The stock and hand guard are in new looking condition. The stock and hand guard have the correct S-HB code stamp on the wood. The wood retain all of the original finish There is no cracks or other issues with the stock and hand guard. The magazine is Standard Products coded. The original sling is also Standard Products coded! This is one of the finest Standard Products Carbine that we have had in many years! Standard Products is one of the rare production carbines of World War 2. they only produced 4% of the carbines produced during the war. That breaks down to 247100 carbines produced! Here is a wonderful as issued example of these rare carbines!
