Item Number 3228 Category

This G. 24t dou code rifle was produced in 1941. The rifle’s serial number is 3630d. It has the standard 24 inch barrel chambered for the 8 m/m German service round. The bore is bright and sharp. This Mauser style rifle was produced at Brunn AG Bystica in Reich occupied Czechoslovakia. When the manufacturing plant was taken over, the German engineers decided to use up all of the existing parts and equipment to manufacture the G. 24t rifle for the German military. These rifles are German proofed and marked. These rifles were only available in 1941 to early 1942. After that the plant started producing The dou Code 98K standard issue rifles until the end of the war in 1945. These G.24t rifles produced by the Germans are fairly rare today. This rifle is all matched numbers. This rifle has seen very little use or service wear. The original bluing would rate a 97% or better condition. The stock and hand guard retain their original finish. The wood has no cracks or other issues. The action works great with no problems. The front sight protector is intact. This is a stunning rifle with very interesting history! This rifle is a prime example of these models! This rifle would be a great show piece in any military collection!
