Remington Model 121 SB 22 Shotgun With Rare Mo-Skeet-O Bore ITEM 3098

Item Number 3098 Category

This Remington’s barrel date is 1940. The Shotgun’s serial number is 41314. The barrel is the standard 23 1/2 inch barrel that is a Routledge style Counter bored smooth bore barrel for 22 Long Rifle Shot Shells only. The barrel has the rare Mo-Skeet-O bore marking. The bore is bright with no issues. There is no provision for a rear sight. The receiver has a milled shotgun style sight groove on the receiver top. The front sight is the standard German Silver shotgun bead. The rest of the Remington gun is the standard 121 configuration. The original bluing would rate a 97% condition. There is some areas of spotting on the receiver face on both sides. This shotgun shows sign of being used in a indoor shooting range. When I was a kid, My Dad took me to a indoor trap range where they used these 22 Shotguns. It was a blast! The action works smoothly with no issues. The take down feature is tight with no play. This Shotgun is matched serial numbered with no mixed parts. This is a highly collectable Remington shotgun in fine original condition. It is estimated that Remington made less than 3000 of these shotguns in four variations. The Mo-Skeet-O marked barrels is one of the hardest to find. Here is a nice honest used Model 121 Shotguns. THE Brick of 22 Shotshells and two boxes are for display only and not for sale.
