Rare Original Irwin Pedersen W.W.2 M1 Carbine With Pretty Stock ITEM 3164

Item Number 3164 Category Tag

This Carbine’s barrel date is 3-43. The carbine’s serial number is 1764164. This carbine has the correct Underwood barrel for the time frame and serial number. This barrel is in fine condition with a bright bore and sharp lands. The stock and handguard are correctly marked for I.P. The blued flat bolt and internal parts and the operating rod is coded for I.P. The completer trigger housing is coded for Saginaw Gear Grand Rapids which is correct as Saginaw Gear took over I.P. operations due to the fact that they could not meet the government standards for quality work and time frame. The sights are also correct for I.P. The magazine is coded for Saginaw Gear Grand Rapids. This carbine does show some service use and wear. The original finish would rate a 95% or better condition. This stock and hand guard show some really nice figuring! This stock has been oiled in the past to make the figuring stand out. All of the stock stamps and codes are fully intact. The original butt plate is also coded for I.P. The sling and oiler are correct World War 2  issue carbines. This is a very rare carbine to find in original issued condition! I. P. only produced 1/10 of 1 percent of the carbines produced during the war before Saginaw Gear took over. Here is one of the few original carbines still around for collectors to find.

In Regards to Phone Calls

For those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. When I call you back you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words.

I do want to talk to you and answer your questions without mistakes or miscommunications. This system works pretty good, so please be willing to be patient with my hearing loss.

My wife Marcia has fine hearing on the phone and is quite knowledgeable about firearms and is very able to help you over the phone.

Thanks, Harry
