This Colt was produced in 1907. The pistol’s serial number is 299883. This pistol has the 4 3/4 inch barrel chambered to shoot the 45 Colt cartridge. This barrel is properly marked “Bisley Model” The bore and chambers are bright with no pitting. The rifling is in very fine sharp condition. The action works very fine with no issues or broken stops. The pistol is mostly patina with traces of bluing in protected places. All of the screws are in fine condition with no burring or other damage to the screw surface. The grips are in fine condition with no chips or other damage. The factory letter states that this Colt was shipped to Speer & Co. Fort Smith Arkansas April 17th 1907. This Colt is a honest used pistol. There is no abuse or damage to this pistol. This pistol shows being used but well cared for. The action is crisp, The bore and chambers have been properly kept clean. Those are signs of a well cared for pistol that has seen frontier use in any kind of weather! This Colt also shoots very fine!
