Colt First Series Woodsman Sport Model Pistol With Heiser Holster – ITEM 2023
This Colt Sport Model Was produced in 1935. The pistol’s serial number is 97581. It has the standard 4 1/2 Inch barrel with the non adjustable front sight. The rear sight is adjustable. The bore is in bright sharp condition. The original wood checkered grips are in fine condition with no cracks or damage. The original bluing would rate a 97% or better condition. The magazine is the correct two tone magazine for this pistol. The pistol’s slide and back strap are correctly serial numbered to the frame. This Heiser holster is a correct period holster for this pistol. This right hand holster is in very fine condition. The leather is supple with no cracking. Heiser leather goods was one of the best makers of leather products in that time frame! This Colt will shoot the 22 long rifle high velocity ammunition with no problems. This is a very fine condition Sports Model Colt that has a correct High Quality period holster that will display very nicely!

In Regards to Phone Calls
For those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. When I call you back you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words.
I do want to talk to you and answer your questions without mistakes or miscommunications. This system works pretty good, so please be willing to be patient with my hearing loss.
My wife Marcia has fine hearing on the phone and is quite knowledgeable about firearms and is very able to help you over the phone.

Our Terms of Sale
This firearm is sold as a curio and relic or an item of historical interest unless specified. This Term of Sale also applies to a modern firearm that Kaiser Ordinance may sell. We the seller, will not assume any responsibility or liability if this firearm is to be shot or used in any way. Any type of ammunition or loading procedures is beyond our control. This also includes any safety or lack of safety procedures in using this firearm purchased by us.
If you, the Buyer, do wish to shoot this firearm, Kaiser Ordinance Inc. strongly insist that the firearm be inspected by a qualified gunsmith as to condition and ability to be fired safely. No guarantees or warranties are implied on a firearm sold by Kaiser Ordinance Inc. Buyer is responsible for any theft or unauthorized use of the firearm purchased from Kaiser Ordinance Inc.
I the Buyer, have read this Term of Sale for purchasing a firearm from Kaiser Ordinance Inc.. I the buyer, fully understand these terms of sale and will accept any responsibility or liability incurred if I violate these terms. I the Buyer will not hold Kaiser Ordinance Inc. or Kaiser Ordinance Inc. employees responsible or liable for the firearm(s) purchased by me, the Buyer.
All items purchased from us have been carefully researched and described to the best of our ability. We want you, the customer to be fully satisfied with your purchase from us. We offer the standard three day inspection time. If for any reason you the customer wish to send your purchase back to us, notify us by phone or email of your intent to return the item. Make sure you send your purchase back in the same condition you received it in and insure the shipment for the same value. When we receive the returned item, I will then send you your refund.
For your simplicity of purchasing items from our site, we offer services for paying by the four major credit cards, or if you prefer, by money orders, cashiers check, or by personal check. If paid by personal check, I will have to hold your order until your check clears the bank. I will ship your order within 48 hours after all paperwork and legal requirements [ if applicable to gun sales] are met. Most items I like to send by priority Mail. You may request a “hold” on any of our items for sale for 24 hours. By email all sales, however, must be concluded by phone. You may contact us by phone during regular business hours… Arizona time.
We also offer for our customers a layaway option. The terms to be worked out on an individual basis per customer. All layaway sales are final.
