This Colt was produced in 1918 The pistol’s serial number is 297437. It has the correct H Space P inspected barrel chambered for the 45 A.C.P. cartridge. The bore is bright with sharp lands. There is some very light pitting in several spots due to corrosive ammunition used at that time. This Colt is all original to the serial number range and time frame. The original bluing would rate a 97% overall condition. The original wood grips are in like new condition. The magazine is the correct two tone magazine for this Colt. The action works fine and locks up tight with no issues. This Colt shows no real service use or wear. There is some very light high point wear from holster wear. This is a very fine condition pistol that has survived the years in this great condition! These World War 1 Pistols in this type of condition are getting really hard to find today.
