This Inland M1-A1 Paratrooper Carbine’s Barrel Date is 12-44. The carbine’s serial number is 6693978. It has the standard 18 inch barrel chambered for the 30 M1 Carbine cartridge. The bore is in minty condition. This carbine shows very little sign of being fired or used. All of the parts are correct for the serial number range and time frame. All of these parts are in very fine to unused looking condition! The original finish is fully intact on the gun and parts. This carbine has the correct blued round bolt and the stamped rear sight. The M1-A1 stock is the correct late style stock with the low wood and steel rivet’s. There is no ordnance rebuild stamps or other rebuild marks. The wood grip is the slim jim style with the ordnance wheel on the lower right side of the grip. The stock has the ‘IO” inside the stock channel. The grip has the “RI” stamped on the bottom of the grip. This stock works correctly and locks up tight for shoulder firing. The original leather is in very fine condition with no damage or other issues. The type three barrel band is “AI” marked. The Correct M4 World War 2 Bayonet is made by Imperial Knife. This bayonet appears to be in unissued condition. The scabbard is also a correct World War 2 Issued scabbard also in unissued condition. This is a very fine late production Paratrooper carbine in original as issued condition. It is very hard to find M1-A1 paratrooper carbines that have not been through the various rebuild programs! Here is a very fine late production carbine that is still in the original as issued condition!
