This Winchester was produced in 1948. The rifle’s serial number is 91198. This rifle has the standard 24 inch barrel chambered to shoot the 22 Short, Long And Long Rifle. This rifle also has the rare factory installed Winchester A5 Scope. The lens is clear with no issues. The cross hair is intact with no issues. The Winchester bases have the sight opening to use iron sights below the scope. This scope is the correct latter style A5 Scope. The forward scope ring is also marked Winchester with the Patent pending notice. Winchester, also Stamped the WP in a circle proof mark on the side of the barrel so that it would not be covered by the scope base. This is only done with factory installed scopes.   This rifle is in near new unfired condition. The bluing would rate a 99% condition! The stock and pump handle retain all of the factory finish. There are no blemishes to the wood. This is a very fine rare Winchester 61 With the factory installed Winchester scope! Very few of these Model 61’s were ever ordered with a scope installed! Here is one of these very rare Rifles! This rifle would be one of the real top show pieces in any collection!

In Regards to Phone Calls

For those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. When I call you back you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words.

 

I do want to talk to you and answer your questions without mistakes or miscommunications. This system works pretty good, so please be willing to be patient with my hearing loss.

 

My wife Marcia has fine hearing on the phone and is quite knowledgeable about firearms and is very able to help you over the phone.
