This Winchester was produced in 1939. The rifle’s serial number is 36584. This rifle has the 24 inch octagonal barrel chambered for the 22 W.R.F. cartridge. The bore is bright with no issues. This rifle does show some light use. There is some light rubbing on the barrel flats from pump handle operation. The original bluing would rate a strong 98% overall condition. This rifle has the early style small pump handle. The wood retains all of the original finish. There is no dents or blemishes on the stock or pump handle. The bluing is really stunning on this gun! The rifle locks up tight with no assembly abuse or damage. The original box is in fair condition. The end label is intact and easy to read. This box is also serial numbered to this Winchester. The graphics are clear on the box. This is a very fine early Model 61 in the very desirable 22 W.R.F. cartridge Having the box and being a octagonal barrel is a real plus with this gun!

For those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. When I call you back you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words.
I do want to talk to you and answer your questions without mistakes or miscommunications. This system works pretty good, so please be willing to be patient with my hearing loss.
My wife Marcia has fine hearing on the phone and is quite knowledgeable about firearms and is very able to help you over the phone.
