This Remington Pistol was produced between 1891 To 1894. The pistol’s serial number is 1882. There were about 2000 of these Model 1890’s produced. This pistol is chambered to fire the 44 W.C.F. cartridge. The action works well and locks up tight. The bore is in fine to good condition. The chambers are in very fine bright condition. The hammer has faint color cased finish. This pistol has traces of the original bluing. The surface is mostly silvery with spots of patina. The cylinder base pin still has the locking spring intact. The original grips are in good condition. The right panel grip has a chip by the bottom of the butt. The swivel is original to this pistol. This is a good working order Remington pistol that has seen honest frontier use and wear. These Model 1890’s are rare today! here is a honest representation of these fine Remington Model 1890’s.
