This Remington Rand is a late production pistol of 1945. The pistol’s serial number is 2445816. This pistol has the correct Flannery Bolt barrel. This barrel’s bore is bright with fine sharp lands. This barrel is chambered for the 45 A.C.P. service round. The original barrel blue would rate a 95% condition. Most of the blue loss is on the chamber area. The original Military finish would rate a 98% condition. This pistol does show some shooting wear but no holster wear. The magazine is the correct World War 2 magazine with the full blue body. The grips are the correct grips for this pistol. This is a very fine condition late Remington Rand that should appeal to any Military collector. These Remington Rand Pistols were some of the best Model 1911-A1’s produced during the war! here is a fine example of these pistols!
