This Remington Rand was produced in 1943. The pistol’s serial number is 1329522. It has the correct High Standard barrel chambered for the 45 A.C.P. pistol service round. The bore is in fine condition with a bright bore. The original barrel bluing would rate a 84% condition. This pistol has seen service use and wear. This pistol also has been professionally refinished to it’s correct wartime finish. This new finish would rate a 98% or better condition. The grips are original war time grips. these grips are in fine condition. The magazine is a correct war time all blued body magazine. I have a card that states that the person who bought this pistol from the family of the original war time owner. The person’s name is Greg Donnels. He Retired to Colorado where this pistol and accessories were purchased. That’s all I have on this person. The holster is by Boyt and dated 1942. The web belt is U.S. marked. The magazine pouch is World War 1 dated 1918. The two magazines are correct World War 2 issued full blued body magazines. This pistol rig shows service use and wear.
