This Smith & Wesson 357 Combat Magnum was produced around 1955 to 1956. The pistol’s serial number is K 260268. The original 4 inch pinned barrel is chambered for the 357 Magnum cartridge. The bore is in bright minty condition. The six chambers are also in bright clean condition. This Smith & Wesson shows very little use and wear. The frame is the correct four screw frame. The original bluing would rate a 97% overall condition. The most blue loss is by the muzzle from holster wear. The color cased finish on the hammer and trigger is very strong and colorful. The action works great as would be expected from Smith & Wesson. The grips are the correct original grips for this pistol. This is a very fine early Model 357 Combat Magnum Pre 19 Pistol! This Smith & Wesson deserves to be in a very fine collection! The Box of 357 Magnum Ammunition is for display only and not for sale!
