Smith & Wesson Model 1917 Revolver In Fine Original Condition ITEM 3000

SOLD

Item Number 3000 Category

This Smith & Wesson was produced in 1919. The pistol’s serial number is 104772. This pistol has the standard 5 1/2 inch barrel chambered for the 45 A.C.P. cartridge. This pistol was made to shoot the half moon clips to better ease the extraction of spent cases. This Smith & Wesson will also shoot the 45 Auto Rim cartridge. The bore and chambers are in near new condition. The action works smoothly with a crisp trigger pull. The crane still has the spring plunger intact to keep the crane and cylinder from bouncing around during loading. The trigger and hammer have nice color cased finish. The original grips are in very fine condition with no finish loss. The original bright bluing would rate a 98% and better condition. This is a very fine condition Smith & Wesson Military Model 1917 that would be a great addition to any collection! The Original World War One Cartridge Box is for display only and not for sale.

In Regards to Phone Calls

For those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. When I call you back you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words.

I do want to talk to you and answer your questions without mistakes or miscommunications. This system works pretty good, so please be willing to be patient with my hearing loss.

My wife Marcia has fine hearing on the phone and is quite knowledgeable about firearms and is very able to help you over the phone.

Thanks, Harry
