Winchester Model 1886 Light Weight Take Down Rifle In 33 W.C.F. ITEM 3087

Item Number 3087 Category

This Winchester was produced in 1912. The rifle’s serial number is 151774. This gun is chambered for the popular 33 Winchester Central Fire cartridge. The bore is in very fine bright condition. The sights are original to this gun. The 24 inch take down barrel has the half magazine take down feature. The take down assembly is tight with no wear. There is no abuse to the threads or the extractor from improper assembly or disassembly. The barrel retains 98% of the original bluing. The receiver retains 97% of the original bluing. The action works smoothly and locks up tight. The shotgun butt plate is in fine condition with no chips on the hard rubber butt plate. The wood is in fine condition with no cracks or other issues. There is some light surface scuffing in spots on the left side of the stock. The original wood finish is in fine condition. This is a extremely nice Model 1886 take down that has not been altered. Many of these Winchesters saw much use and wear. To find one this nice is a real plus! This rifle is certainly a collector grade gun! I also have two and a half boxes of factory 33 Winchester Ammunition and R.C,B.S. dies for reloading. See my accessories site for more details.
