This Winchester was produced in 1925. The carbine’s serial number is 969223. This carbine has the standard 20 inch barrel chambered for the 25-35 W.C.F. cartridge. The bore is in very fine bright condition. The action works smoothly as expected. The sights are the correct standard carbine sights for this carbine. The barrel and magazine original bluing would rate a 96% condition. The receiver would rate a 60% flaking condition. The stock and forend is in very nice condition. There is some dents and bumps on the wood as expected for a working carbine. This is a good looking carbine in the rare 25-35 W.C.F. cartridge. This chambering is the hardest to find in the Model 1894 series of rifles and carbines. This Saddle Ring Carbine is a very nice respectable example of these hard to find 25-35 W.C.F. chamberings! This gun deserves to be in a fine collection!
