Winchester Model 1906 First Year Production In 22 Short Fine Condition ITEM 2138

Item Number 2138 Category Tag

This Winchester was produced in 1906. The rifle’s serial number is 7067. It has the standard 20 inch round barrel chambered for the 22 Short only. The bore is in very fine condition with no issues. The sights are original to this gun. The action is tight with no worn areas. There are no damaged screws or marred surfaces. This rifle has the correct early smooth pump handle. This gun shows very little use or handling. The hammer still has it’s strong color cased finish. There is no wood damage or cracks to the stock. The original wood finish is intact. The original bluing would rate a 94% overall condition with some surface speckling. The bolt has all of the original bluing present. The take down feature is tight with no play. It is very difficult to find early model 1906 rifles in this fine of condition! The bore’s great condition is also a big plus with this rifle! This Winchester will be a wonderful addition to any collection!
