Take a Shot at History

Winchester Model 1906 Rifle With Leather Rifle Boot For Saddle Use ITEM 2141

Item Number 2141 Category

This Winchester was produced in 1928. The rifle’s serial number is 672162. This rifle has the standard 20 inch barrel chambered to shoot the 22 Short, Long and Long Rifle cartridge. The bore is in very good condition with sharp lands and a bright bore. This rifle is in patina condition. There is traces of the original bluing in protected places. The action is tight and works just fine. The take down feature is also tight and not worn. The sights are original to this Winchester. The stock and forend have no damage or cracks. The butt plate is intact with no chips. This rifle shows more carry use and wear than actual shooting. The leather rifle boot is made for this Winchester and shows much use. Some of the stitching needs to be re stitched otherwise it is useable. I have been told this Winchester came from Carson City Nevada and was used on a ranch nearby. This rifle shows character and history! This Winchester will still shoot just fine as well as being a interesting addition to any collection!
