Winchester Model 61 In 22 Long Rifle Shot Only Counter Bored Shotgun ITEM 2134

Item Number 2134 Category Tag

This Winchester was produced in 1950. The Shotgun’s serial number is 135635. This gun has the standard 24 inch round barrel that is counter bored. This gun is designed to shoot 22 Long Rifle shot shells only. The receiver is the smooth round top style. The front sight is the German Silver shotgun bead. This shotgun shows some shooting wear. The action is tight with no play. There is some very slight wear from the forend rubbing on the barrel sides from pumping the action. The original bluing would rate a 96% or better condition. The stock and forend still have the original finish intact. There is no cracks or chips with the wood. There is some very light handling marks on the wood as would be expected in a gun that has been lightly used. This is a very fine condition Winchester Model 61 shotgun! These Winchesters in the shotgun chamberings are very rare! Here is one of the very nice condition guns that can be shot and still be a very collectable rare gun! 22 Shotgun Boxes are for display only. They are not for sale!
