This Winchester was produced in 1941. The rifle’s serial number is 121959. It has the standard round barrel chambered for the 22 Short, Long And Long Rifle cartridge. The bore is in minty condition. The sights are the correct standard sights for this model. This rifle shows very light use. The barrel has some light rubbing from the forend being pumped. The receiver and bolt are very highly polished. The polishing is really stunning! The original bluing would rate a strong 98% or better condition. The stock and forend retain all of the original finish. There is no blemishes on the wood. The take down feature locks up tight. The action is in new condition. The box is in fair condition. The end label is intact. The graphics are strong. This rifle is one of the very early 62″A”‘s, The “A” is hand stamped before this rifle was blued. Winchester had not had time to make the new Die’s for the 62 A series when this rifle came out. This is a very collectable rare feature!

For those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. When I call you back you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words.
I do want to talk to you and answer your questions without mistakes or miscommunications. This system works pretty good, so please be willing to be patient with my hearing loss.
My wife Marcia has fine hearing on the phone and is quite knowledgeable about firearms and is very able to help you over the phone.
