Colt Model 1908 In 380 A.C.P. With Factory Nickel Finish And Pearl Grips ITEM 3120

Item Number 3120 Category Tag

This Colt was produced in 1928. The pistol’s serial number is 93664. It has the factory nickel plated barrel chambered for the 380 A.C.P. cartridge. The bore is in good condition with a bright bore and sharp lands. There is some light pitting in spots due to corrosive ammunition. This Colt has the original factory plated nickel finish. This finish is in very fine condition. The surface retains the high polish surface with no wear or scratches. The plating would rate a 98% overall condition. The magazine is also the correct magazine with the plated body and high polish floor plate. The action works correctly with no issues. The original factory Pearl grips are in very fine condition. These grips have the Colt screwed in plates on the underside of the grips to center the grips to the frame and keep them from sliding around. These grips have that deep lustered texture of old pearl. There is one hardly noticed tiny chip on the grip by the left panel below the safety cut out. This is a very stunning Colt pistol with these pearl grips! It is very hard to find early plated Colts that retain this amount of high polish finish that is not scratched from use and wear! Here is a stunning example of these early Colts that would be a standout in any collection! The pamphlet is for display only and not for sale.

In Regards to Phone Calls

For those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. When I call you back you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words.

I do want to talk to you and answer your questions without mistakes or miscommunications. This system works pretty good, so please be willing to be patient with my hearing loss.

My wife Marcia has fine hearing on the phone and is quite knowledgeable about firearms and is very able to help you over the phone.

Thanks, Harry
