This Colt was produced in 1941. The pistol’s serial number is 729279. This pistol was inspected by Robert Sears. The frame is inspected in two places and so marked. This was the last year of the Blued Colts. The barrel is the correct barrel for this Colt. The bore is service used but would rate a 7 or better out of 10. The original bluing would rate a 94% or better condition. There is some light blue loss on the grip area and the high points of the pistol from holster use. The internal parts are original to this Colt in wear and use. The grips are the original grips for this pistol. The magazine is the correct two tone magazine. This magazine is in very fine condition. This Colt shows light service use and wear. The slide is snug to the frame and locks up tight. The slide is correctly serial numbered to the frame. The factory letter states that this Colt is blued and sent with 2500 other pistols To Springfield Armory on April 30th 1941. This holster is for display only and not for sale.  These Robert Sears inspected pistols with the original finish are rare today. In Regards to Phone Calls

For those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. When I call you back you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words.

I do want to talk to you and answer your questions without mistakes or miscommunications. This system works pretty good, so please be willing to be patient with my hearing loss.

My wife Marcia has fine hearing on the phone and is quite knowledgeable about firearms and is very able to help you over the phone.

Thanks, Harry
