This Navy Colt was Produced in 1912. The pistol’s serial number is 10663. This Colt has the correct original barrel with the “H” stamped on the barrel lip. The bore is very good with sharp lands. This Colt is in it’s original as issued condition. It has the correct early sights and slide. The parts still show traces of the nitre blued finish such as the trigger and magazine release to name a few. This pistol’s original finish is in mostly patina condition. There is no sign of abuse to this Colt. This pistol does show sea service use and wear. Most of the surviving Navy marked pistols show this kind of condition. The original  key hole magazine is with this pistol. The wood grips are in good condition with no cracks or other damage. The factory letter states that this Colt was one of 1000.pistols shipped to the Brooklyn Navy Yard on November 5th 1912.
