This Colt Model 1911 was produced in early 1918. This pistol’s serial number is 356601. It has the correct barrel with the P H in line. This barrels bore is in very fine condition with no issues. The barrel bluing is mostly faded bluing . The slide retains the original bluing. There is some spotting of the finish mostly by the muzzle area. The bluing of the slide would rate a 94% condition. The frame bluing has no issues. The frame bluing would rate a 96% or better condition. The grips are in very fine original condition. The action works fine as expected. All of the parts on this Colt are correct for the serial number range and time of production. The magazine is a very nice two tone magazine that the original owner put his social security number on on one side of the magazine. The Model 1916 holster is by Grafton & Knight and dated 1918. This holster is in fine serviceable condition with no issues. This is a very nice condition Colt Model 1911 that has seen some light service use and wear. having an original World War One holster adds to the appeal of this pistol!
