The barrel date on this carbine is April of 1943. The carbine’s serial number is 381914. This is a first block production M1 carbine for Inland. The 18 inch barrel is in minty condition with a bright bore. It is chambered for the 30 M1 Carbine cartridge. All of the parts including the magazine is properly coded for Inland. These parts are correct for the serial number range and time frame. This carbine shows very light use and being fired. This carbine would rate a 97% or better condition. It has the correct dog leg hammer and early style parts. The flat bolt retains almost all of the original bluing. The action works smoothly with no issues. This carbine has never had the type 3 barrel band installed. The rear sight is original to this carbine. The high wood oval cut stock and hand guard are properly IO coded.
