ITEM – 2039 -SOLD – Winchester Model 12 12 Gauge Skeet Gun With Fancy Wood Early Post War

SOLD

Item Number 2039 Category

This Winchester was produced in 1949. The Shotgun’s serial number is 1167285. The 26 inch barrel is chambered for the 12 gauge shells. The choke is Skeet 1. The barrel has the Winchester vent rib with the “Duck Bill” rear sight base. The Receiver top is matted with the no glare finish. The front sight is the standard red dot sight for Skeet Guns. The take down feature is snug with no play. The trigger pull is crisp. The receiver is properly marked “Skeet” below the serial number. The bolt and follower are jewelled and show little wear. The bluing would rate a strong 97% overall condition. The stock and pump handle is very fancy with plenty of figuring! The pistol grip has the Winchester Logo cap. The recoil pad is the original pad. This pad is in very fine condition and not dried out. The checkering on the stock and Pump handle is in very fine condition. The checkering points are sharp with very little sign of wear. The pump handle has the three diamond checkering pattern. The Stock “Pull” is 14 inches. The drop at the heel is 2 inches. The drop at the base of the comb is 1 3/4 inch. I have taken this shotgun out to the Skeet field. I have to say, this gun shoots great! The action works smooth and fast. The balance and weight gives you a great swing after those birds! This fancy Winchester makes you look great shooting those Skeet birds!

In Regards to Phone Calls

For those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. When I call you back you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words.

I do want to talk to you and answer your questions without mistakes or miscommunications. This system works pretty good, so please be willing to be patient with my hearing loss.

My wife Marcia has fine hearing on the phone and is quite knowledgeable about firearms and is very able to help you over the phone.

Thanks, Harry
