This Remington has the 6-43 barrel date. The rifle’s serial number is 4141704. It has the standard 24 inch barrel with the 2 land rifling. This rifle’s bore is in minty condition. It is chambered to shoot the 30 Government 1906 cartridge [30-06] . This rifle shows no real sign of being fired. The original military finish would rate a 99% overall condition. The receiver and barrel has that correct green tinted finish. The small parts, bolt and trigger guard assembly are correctly blued. The sights are original to this rifle. The stock has all of the correct markings and the F J A inspection stamp. The ordnance wheel is also present. The stock is in near new condition. The stock and hand guard retain all of the original finish. The plastic oiler and tool carrier is in the stock compartment. The bolt shows some very light use from being operated and worked. This is a real fine condition unused Model 1903-A3 rifle for the serious collector! It is getting harder and harder to find these rifles in this fine of condition. Here is one of the nicest to come on the market!
