These Model 30’s were produced from Remington’s left over Military Model 1917 rifles from World War One. These rifles were fitted with the superior speed lock for the bolt action. The speed lock is a big improvement over the earlier push to lock military action. The sight ears were ground off and the receiver was streamlined to a more pleasing civilian look. The magazine will hold 6 rounds of shells. This was a great way for Remington to use up all of the left over 1917 Rifle Military parts from the Great War. This rifle is a fine looking rifle and shoots great! This Model 30 would be a great addition to any Military Collection that displays the 1917 Military Rifles and the aftermath of the war production. This rifle will also look great in any fine Collection as well!
