This Smith & Wesson was produced around 1918. The pistol’s serial number is 64081. The original holster is made by Grafton and Knight and is dated 1917. This pistol is all matched serial numbered. The original grips are also original to this pistol. The barrel is the correct military 5 1/2 inch barrel chambered for the 45 A.C.P. cartridge in half moon clips. The barrel is marked United States Property on the underside.  The bore and chambers are in fine condition. The action works smoothly with no issues. The trigger and hammer have vivid color cased finish. The color cased finish would rate a 96% overall.  The original grips are in fine condition with the original finish intact. The original bluing is very strong and bright. The bluing would rate a 96% overall condition. This is a very fine original condition as issued Smith & Wesson military revolver! The holster is in very fine original condition. There is no damage or loose stiching. The leather is supple and fully serviceable. This is a fine as issued pistol with the original holster. This would be a wonderful addition to any military or Smith & Wesson collection!
