Smith & Wesson Very Early 3 Digit Serial Number Model 1917 Military Revolver ITEM 3065

Item Number 3065 Category Tag

This Smith & Wesson was one of the earliest to be produced in 1917. The pistol’s serial number is 110. The pistol is chambered to shoot the 45 A.C.P. cartridge in half moon clips. It will also shoot the latter 45 auto rim cartridge. The bore and chambers are in new condition. This pistol is in near new condition throughout. All of the metal parts are correctly serial numbered to the frame. The only draw back is that the grips are a latter style for this model. These grips fit just fine. This pistol shows very little sign of ever being fired if even being fired. The hammer and trigger have strong color cased finish. The color cased finish would rate a 98% condition. The original bluing would rate a 99% condition. The crane has the hold open plunger intact. This is one very stunning Smith & Wesson! Having serial number 110 is a collectors dream to find in this early of a serial number. Having this pistol in this fine of condition is a real plus!

In Regards to Phone Calls

For those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. When I call you back you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words.

I do want to talk to you and answer your questions without mistakes or miscommunications. This system works pretty good, so please be willing to be patient with my hearing loss.

My wife Marcia has fine hearing on the phone and is quite knowledgeable about firearms and is very able to help you over the phone.

Thanks, Harry
