Item Number 2009 Category Tag

This Standard Products Carbine Barrel date is 2-44. The carbine’s serial number is 2192088. The barrel is by Underwood which was a supplier of barrels for Standard Products. Standard products did not produce their own barrels. This barrel is in very fine condition with a bright bore and sharp lands. The front and rear sights are original to this gun. All of the parts are correct original parts for this carbine for the serial number range and time frame. This carbine shows service use but no abuse. The original finish shows some light wear on the gun and parts. The flat bolt Still has the original bluing intact. The action works crisply with no issues. The oval cut low wood stock and forend have the proper codes of S-HB for Standard Products. The stock and hand guard have no cracks or issues. The original finish is intact on the wood surface. This is a very nice service used carbine that shows some history with this gun! These Standard Products carbines are fairly rare! Standard Products only produced 4% of the carbines produced during World War 2. This breaks down to about 247100 carbines produced. The survival rate of original unaltered carbines is rather poor! Here is an original unaltered carbine that shows some history and use!
